Create a neat finish at exposed edges with our 2m rubber edging for artificial grass and carpet. Made from durable, flexible black rubber, this ramp edge trim covers the edge of the flooring and provides a sloped transition towards the surrounding surface.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it can be used for permanent installations or temporary applications, including exhibition stands and event flooring.
Artificial grass edging for concrete and hard surfaces
Finish artificial grass laid over concrete, paving or tarmac with a tidy, defined border. The trim features a shelf for securing the grass backing, allowing the fibres to sit above the edging while concealing the exposed backing.
Use it around open edges or as an artificial grass threshold where the turf meets another surface. Its tapered profile reduces the abruptness of the exposed edge.
Rubber carpet edging for commercial and event flooring
This rubber carpet edging strip can also finish exposed carpet edges in suitable installations, including exhibition stands, temporary displays and commercial flooring projects.
Use it as a carpet ramp edge trim where the carpet ends and meets the surrounding floor. Its sloping profile creates a more gradual transition, while the black rubber provides a defined border.
Also known as a rubber diminishing strip, the trim tapers towards its outer edge. Check your carpet’s thickness, backing and finished floor height against the trim’s profile before ordering, particularly where door clearance matters.

How to finish artificial grass and carpet edges
- Check the fit. Position the flooring edge on the trim’s shelf and check the transition to the adjoining surface.
- Prepare the surface. Ensure the fixing area is sound, clean and suitable for your chosen adhesive or fixings.
- Secure the trim. Secure it to the underlying surface, it can usually be screwed down. Compatible double-sided tape can be used for temporary indoor applications.
- Secure the grass or carpet to the trim. For artificial grass, glue or screw the backing to the shelf. For carpet, use a fixing method suitable for its backing and the rubber trim.
- Check before use. Ensure all edges are secure and allow adhesives to cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
